All the clay pieces are handcrafted by me in my home studio in Kent. I put a lot of energy and love into my work to create a unique experience for each one of you.
Clay is generally very durable, but handle and store with care to avoid breakage and scratches. Clay has a delicate nature and is a flexible material when cured. It can show little imperfections after fire like slight colour variations, tiny marks and very small bubbles. The eventual inconsistencies that can occur will not affect the functionality or overall aesthetic appeal of the pieces. It's the nature of handmade and the guarantee that you are acquiring a truly unique piece.
Makeup or other dirt can be removed from clay by using a soft cloth with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals and prolonged exposure to high temperatures and direct sunlight. Generally all metals used to accessorise the earrings will naturally tarnish over time due to exposure to air, water, and oils. Keep metal dry, avoid high humidity, avoid excessive handling, and store in an air-tight container to help prevent tarnish. Clean the tarnished metal with ketchup (funny, i know!!) to restore shine.
Most of the metals used in my earrings are made out of stainless steel, steel and brass. All of them are free from chemicals such as lead and nickel, hence being allergy free.
